The Basics - How does Speed Dating work? |

It’s very simple. You will talk to your date for 3 minutes, which is enough time for you to figure out if you’d like to meet him/her again. After 3 minutes you then move on to your next date. You will be given a "score card" in which you keep track of who you have met, and for each date you simply mark the form with a “yes” or a “no” if you’d like to meet that person again. At the end of the night, you return your score card to the host. Within 24 hours, we will email you the contact details of all your “matches” – where both you and your date marked “yes” for each other. After that it’s up to you!

How do I reserve my place? |

Reserving a place is easy! Just go to the Event page, and click "Book Now" next to the event you wish to attend. No paper tickets are required. Just bring your ID and your name will be noted on our V.I.P Guest List.

What happens when I arrive at the start of the night? |

When you arrive, you will be given a ""score card", which you will need to fill out with your contact details for your matches (either your email and/or phone number). The forms and the Speed Dating process will be explained the night of the event. At the end of the night you need to be sure to return your score card to the host (don't worry, we'll remind you)! Keep in mind, we will be there to answer any questions you may have!

I am outside the age range - can I participate? |

Yes, we do allow a small leeway for most event - We may run other events for people outside the age range of our events currently listed. If you would be interested in this, please let us know – send us a quick note on the via the Contact Us page.

What is the venue like? |

What details do you give to other people? |
| |
We give your matches your phone number or email address, whichever you prefer, as provided by you on the night.
|

What happens at the end of the night? |

You return your "score card", where you have marked who you would like to meet again. We will then go through the forms and see who your matches are. We will then email you the contact details of your matches.

What happens if the event is sold out? |
| |
Just add your name to our “Waiting List”, and we will contact you should an opening occur. It is also a good idea to keep checking back on our website as sometimes reservations become available at the last minute.

What type of people can I expect to meet?

How long does a 3MinuteMatch event last?
|

The length of an event is based on the number of daters in attendance. Generally, our events last 2 hours including intermission.

What Should I Wear?

First impression are the best impressions... However, dress how you feel. Please be presentable.

How Do I know I will be safe at the event? |

Please see Terms and Conditions - We experience all venues personally before partnering with the chosen restaurant or bar. We ask that you use the same level of judgment that you would use when meeting anyone for the first time.

How can I be sure there will be equal numbers of participants at the party?
|

We ensure that there are always an equal number of confirmed attendees. In the event someone who has confirmed does not show up we may be off by one or two. If the number of men and women attending the event is off by more than five, the event may be canceled. If a cancellation should occur, you will be given the opportunity to re-schedule your event or be offered a refund. You will be contacted via email should a cancellation occur.
